10 Second Mixtape is a casual game about teaming up to make 10-second songs with other real people from all over the world. Every track in the game is player-generated; absolutely nothing is prewritten.
Don't worry if you're not musically inclined! There are no winners here — it's all about having fun and making silly sounds.
You load into The Venue, your favorite spot to hang out and watch bands! The bands playing are all other players' creations. Your ratings will affect how often that band is booked for shows in everyone else's games.
When you start the game, you'll be given a random instrument and bandmate, and you'll record a 10 second track.
From there, it's time to add more layers! You can pick from demo tapes sent in by other potential band members to add to your track.
Finally, it's time to take this show on the road! Watch your band perform the full song live in front of their new fans. Your new 10-second song will go into the infinite playlist of bands that play at The Venue.

Since the update, something seems to be wrong with the metronome. It sounds like it's ticking about 3/4 of a beat earlier than it should, which is most notable at the very end when it sounds like it doesn't tick the 4th beat of the 4th measure. Everything I put in also seems to replay a half beat earlier than where I place it.
So glad the upright bass is working though!
Sorry about that! Unity really makes this rhythm stuff hard. I will look into it.

i love this game but i am so sick of silly armani bro why does he show up on like every track
so cool but it blasts the loudest noise i’ve ever heard in my entire life straight into my eardrum as loud as it can whenever i submit a track :)
I had the upright bass and I wasn't able to play anything, keyboard input didn't do anything. Did I miss something?

Somehow the bass stays silent and after I hit done, the bass releases all notes at one deep fried, otherwise fun
this has fulfilled my purpose in life

I wish we could listen to our old songs and view other people's songs on a gallery or something. Also with stats like how many times our song has been listened to. Great game!! :D

I loved this game, but it gets boring because of the matchmaking system, I mean, there is a lot of people just making noise, so it would be cool for a matchmaking system where higher level players get to play with higher level people.
Also i would love for a full note gamemode (with semitones, not just major scale) and would be very cool to be able to see your own songs and for extra tracks to add to your song to not repeat, but i guess thats just because of the number of players.

the upright bass is buged, it doesnt sound neither playing or hearing ( on web)
This was my first instrument and i almost quit on the spot, then i saw this, games very fun just not when you get upright bass

Such an amazing concept genuinely, its so fun lol. If you want to go even further though:
- A way to save your own songs you've created and revisit them, with the band and musicians names viewable, as well as other bands's songs.
- Ability to see how well your own band song does
- Each person has an overall score which gets higher the more likes you get, or lower if people dislike a song you've made. But keep the randomised character names, part of the charm imo
